Dear Cavaliers,

After a series of exchanges on the Honor System and the developments in the Academy capped by the article shared by Cav. Estrellado and Cav. Cabanban regarding the letter from Gov. Coscolluella - I cannot help but react and scribble a few observations.

The training we received from the Academy was aimed at producing " A Few Good Men." Every part of the training - from being a plebe to becoming an upperclassman; from the early morning roadruns to the late evening guard duties; from Saturday morning inspections to Sunday Church masses; from the daily demanding Academic grind to Saturday evening Hops; from long day foot marches to late evening taps - all of these were but a part of the goal of developing and breeding a few good men. Men who will serve without waiting for a reward, men who will be willing to die for his country at all cost. They don't come cheap, they don't come easy.

Our country is not at War. I believe that our alumni can be of better service to the country if they are employed in the Civilian sector helping run the Civil government or helping manage the Corporate world. We have living proofs - but we need to do it in a grander scale - we can do it!

Let us do it Cavaliers!
