To Art, Juny and all ACF Cavaliers,
You have hit the nail right on the head - dead center! Courage, Loyalty, Integrity are the virtues that our country so badly needs. Not just in the military, but also in government, in education, in religion, in social life, and in the Philippine moral fiber. Unfortunately, there are too many "graduates" who failed to imbibe these virtues and who became easy prey to the forces that keep the Philippines from being the true Pearl of the Orient Seas.
"Too many" may be a small fraction of those who call PMA their alma mater. But one, to me, is already too many, and, as the ACF postings have made clear, there are more than a "few" bad apples out there.
It is really time for the majority, wherever they may be, "o'er land or deep blue sea," to become the driving force which will change our country for the better, so that "generations (may) see our country free" in the true sense of the word. Perhaps the ACF can be an instrument -- a significant one -- in the QUEST for a better Philippines! With the quality of the graduates that I saw in my years at the PMA and even later on, I have no doubt that it can be done.
Art has struck the right chord. What now?
